Clijsters and Li Na will play in the finals of the tournament in Sydney

Champion of U.S. Open Kim Clijsters is ranked in the final of tennis tournament in Sydney. Belgian won 4:6, 6:3, 7:6 (1) against Russian Alisa Kleybanova and again won the right to play in the match to win the valuable trophy. In the other semifinal Chinese Li Na defeated Serb Boyana Jovanovski with 7:6 (5), 6:3. Classification of final for Li is less than number eight in her career.

In the men's tournament schedule Gilles Simon (France) qualified for the semi-finals after success with 6:4, 6:3 against Ukrainian Alexander Dalgopolov. His opponent will be put at No. 3-seeded Ernests Gulbis. Lett won 6:4, 6:4 against Stakovski Sergey (Ukraine). Former No. 6-ranked Simon returned to the court after treatment of a knee injury and proved that it could become one of the pleasant surprises of the forthcoming Open Championship in Australia.
